Another day another Moon… 🌛⁠ ⁠ And this i Another day another Moon… 🌛⁠ ⁠ And this is a day to g-l-o-w!⁠ ⁠ In Leo, la Luna loves us to be the center of our world, and act like it.⁠ ⁠ Aren’t so many of us women taught to let others go first, listen carefully, do as we’re told, not make a fuss, etc., etc…?⁠ ⁠ This gentle erosion of will and purpose (over millennia… this is ALL part of the grand dissolution of the feminine principle) means that holding space for ourselves is a lost art. And instead of fuelling the fire within, we got used to searching outside of ourselves for ⁠ ⁠ ✶ Reasons⁠ ✶ Answers⁠ ✶ Affirmation⁠ ✶ Direction⁠ ✶ Instructions⁠ ✶ Practices⁠ ✶ Rhythms⁠ ⁠ ⁠ …that the inner fire has all but fizzled out?⁠ ⁠ This Moon fans the flame.⁠ ⁠ Fixed in modality, it’s *sustaining*. This means it tends to resist change, instead preferring to stop and be present. Making this a beautiful time for devotion to self – to passion, pleasure, creativity, friendship…⁠ ⁠ Do you lean into YOU?⁠ Do you know how to fuel your inner fire? 🔥⁠ ⁠

So it’s easier to lean into the fear and uncertainty of choice, with an edge of positivity and optimism. ⁠ Personal power is what fuels the world. And today, yours wants to rise up to the surface – just as the Moon tugs at the tides and tectonic plates of the planet, she also tugs at your energetic resources. And vital if we’re to get to know ourselves.⁠ ⁠ Self-awareness is power.⁠ This Cancer Moon knows this and shares it through the *emotional realms* of experience.⁠ ⁠ Do not duck away from this today.⁠ ⁠ Try not to numb, discount or avoid the feels that rise up in you.⁠ ⁠ My little boy was crying a couple of nights ago, he wouldn’t tell me why because he said it was ‘dumb’. I eeked it out of him – a guessing game of elimination and it was anything but ‘dumb’. And it was hard to witness - the strength of his feelings was dissolving him from the inside, yet he was already trying NOT to listen, despite the tears…⁠ ⁠ I told him that his feelings were his superpower. To listen to them and follow them always. ⁠ ⁠ How many of us adults need to hear this?⁠ Again and again, until we finally take it in?⁠ ⁠ The Cancer Moon IS the maternal presence, high in the sky, reminding us of this… YOUR feelings are your superpower too.⁠ ⁠ ♡⁠ ⁠

Seen and unseen. ⁠ ⁠ This Moon can feel a lot like this – like inhabiting a space that’s not quite ‘of this world’. Not quite the experience of ‘ordinary' people, whatever that means. ⁠ ⁠ It feels good that definitions of normal are being exploded. ⁠ ⁠ That you can share views with some folks, yet disagree about other issues with those very same friends… and it not cause separation. At least that’s how I feel … but then I’ve rarely held the same opinions as most people I know. My lens is usually veeery different!⁠ ⁠ And I try not to feel separate.⁠ And if I do, then it’s usually more about me… a reflection of some internalised distance with myself. It’s taken a long time to figure this out… and to begin the work of coming back together.⁠ ⁠ I wonder if it’s something felt by a lot of us? ⁠ The partition, the inner split, the dislocation with self. I’m guessing it is… don't our societies positively demand it of us? If we’re to 'succeed' most of the time... And if the world out there (and the mirror it reveals, of our collective inner spaces) is anything to go by.⁠ ⁠ You feel this? ⁠ You want to do something about it?⁠ ⁠
Have you been feeling wriggly? ⁠ Twitchy and fid Have you been feeling wriggly? ⁠ Twitchy and fidgety these past couple of days?⁠ Gemini Moon’s been here to stay a looong while...⁠ ⁠ Lunar transits through signs can last anything from one and a half, to four long days at a stretch. And it feels like she’s been waxing through the sign of the twins for an age, does it not?⁠ ⁠ This Moon rules the lungs, arms, wrists and hands. And here in the last few degrees, you may feel like bursting free. ⁠ It’s okay. ⁠ It’s normal. ⁠ It’s your own body’s response to the tug of the waxing orb above your head. Just as the tides and the tectonic plates also hear her call.⁠ ⁠ Find ways to diffuse this nervous energy. ⁠ It likely doesn’t mean anything much… just a reminder of the glorious mirror that you are, Moonchild.⁠ ⁠ X⁠
The Moon in Gemini activates air.⁠ ⁠ Breath. ⁠ ⁠ Your lifelong connection to Spirit, as it rushes in and out of the body: Constant, rhythmic, settling, and invigorating in whatever measure you need.⁠ ⁠ This ally is one of the first. Unmet until we emerge from the womb and suddenly feel the rush of intake… until that point our contact with Spirit took another form. And who knows what that was?⁠ ⁠ How conscious are you of yours? ⁠ Your breath, and the seam of presence it gives you with Spirit?⁠ ⁠ Gemini Moons can be fast and furious, a whirl of activity and a buzz of chatter. ⁠ BUT slow down, and you may be able to meet the Spirit of air in a more conscious way. To re-kindle your connection, your partnership, your unending romance...⁠
